After attending the April Lightroom demo, I went back to re-read the Lightroom ebook. I notice that you include a bit of clarity (+3) along with your defaults of Exposure -1 and Contrast -0.33. But I did not run across any explanation of why you include this. Can you comment on adding some clarity as part of your default settings?

Thanks,
Kathy

Just a follow-up to this question. I did find some photos that had the ACR 4.4 profile with Process Version 1 or 2. I could update the process version to the current 5 and the ACR 4.4 profile was preserved. But I could not save that profile as a favorite. It did not appear in the Profile Browser.

I could create a snapshot that…

I think I might be able to find the old ACR profiles if I revert to an older process version and then add to my favorites. I’ll try that but thanks for the suggestion to try Adobe Standard. It is less saturated than Adobe Color.

In a couple of the videos in the Essential Step-by-Step Guide I noticed that there was an adjustment visible in the Calibration panel. It changed the Blue Hue to +15. This is not something you talked about in the videos and maybe it’s irrelevant, but I have never used this panel to make any changes.
